Privacy policy

This page explains what information uaeapply collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we only use your CV and the details you give us to rewrite your CV and apply to jobs for you. We don't sell your data, and we delete it when you ask.

What we collect

• Your CV: the file you upload.
• The details on our form: name, email, WhatsApp number, target job titles, preferred emirates, years of experience, current location, availability, and (if you choose to give them) expected salary and LinkedIn profile.
• Your consent: the exact authorisation text you agreed to, and when.
• Basic technical data: a one-way hash of your IP address, kept briefly to block spam, and anonymous, cookie-free page-view statistics (Vercel Analytics).

We do not ask for, and do not want, your passport, Emirates ID, visa copy, bank details or card numbers. Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider; we never see your card details.

How we use it

• To rewrite your CV.
• To find jobs that match what you told us, and to apply to them on your behalf.
• To send you updates on WhatsApp or email about your applications and your account.

When we apply to a job for you, the employer (or the job site they use) receives your CV and the contact details on it. That is the whole point of the service, and we only do it for roles that match what you asked for.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Your CV is kept in private, access-controlled cloud storage; your form details in a private database. Only the uaeapply team can access them. We use trusted service providers to run the service (hosting (Vercel), database and file storage (Supabase), email (Resend) and payments), and they may process data on servers outside the UAE.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you are using the service and for up to 12 months after, in case you come back. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to stop applying for jobs on your behalf. Message us on WhatsApp or email hello@uaeapply.com and we'll act on it promptly.

We aim to handle personal data in line with UAE data protection law, including the Federal Decree-Law on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), and to only collect what we need for the service.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
